What is an investment unit?
An investment unit is like a slice of the investment pie. Imagine all the fund’s money as a big pie. The value of your slice (investment unit) depends on how big the whole pie is (the fund’s assets) and how many slices (units) there are
The value of the investment units is based on the net asset value (NAV) of the underlying investments, which is the total value of the assets in the fund divided by the number of units issued.
The total NAV of the fund might change and is determined annually by means of an appraisal of the assets.
By paying your share (or deposit) you buy an investment unit.
The value of the investment unit is an indicator of the success of the fund’s operations. The value of the investment unit is published regularly on the website of the management company EREIM.
The management company records the number and value of investment units for each investor on the individual account of the investor and periodically determines their value.
